This is an ethically handcrafted and upcycled accessory made with locally sourced materials. The special waste bag holder and dispenser is handmade with lively, upcycled Indian textiles and is able to hole two rolls of plastic waste bags at a time. This product has been made with convenience and style in mind, with many features that allow for it to be more convenient.
The use of upcycled design allows for the spirit of sustainability and resourcefulness to be honored with the artisan communities, and provides for rich combinations with a one of a kind quality. Matr Boom meaning "Motherland" in the native Indian language Sanskrit was made by Manish Gupta and Ruchi Agrawal as they were both passionate in breaking the poverty chain faced by the fashion industry workers in India. They partnered with grassroots organizations to transform unskilled women and men into community artisans and have personally ensured that the materials and processes used in production were safe for people and kind to the land.
