This wax dyed tapestry makes an excellent wall hanging, it can be used as a beach blanket or a throw on any furniture in your home. The mandala print is handcrafted and the whole throw is made from a thick cotton. There are two loops on the the corners for easy hanging.
Meera Viswanathan grew up in India and later became a CPA in the USA. When she would visit home she would go shopping in rural India and got to know many artisan’s who had no control over their products or wages as they were living in poverty. By combining her financial training with her upbringing, she started Mira Fair Trade to empower underprivileged artisans in New Delhi to attain long-term sustainability and economic independence.
