These adorable mobiles, designed by Balizen features hand-carved whales made of Albacia, a fast-growing sustainable garden wood. The whales are made in a traditional family workshop in the mountains of Bali, and the mobiles are assembled in Balizen's fair trade in-house.
Balizen has been at the forefront of the Fair Trade and sustainability movement for over two decades. Their designs are inspired by the nature and Zen traditions of craftsmanship, simplicity, harmony and the use of natural and eco-friendly materials. Balizen has a deep respect for local artisans’ lifestyle, traditions and environment.
