Payment Methods

Cash

Villages Calgary accepts CAD cash in-store.

Credit Cards

Villages Calgary accepts payment from all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and AMEX both in-store and online. 

Debit Cards

Villages Calgary accepts payment from all major debit cards in-store. Some debit cards may be accepted online.

Physical Gift Cards

  • Villages Calgary physical gift cards can only be purchased in-store or over the phone.
  • Villages Calgary will accept all physical gift cards issued by Villages Calgary that bear the Villages Calgary name and logo both in-store and online.
  • Gift cards can not be refunded or returned.

Digital Gift Cards

  • Villages Calgary digital gift cards can only be purchased online.
  • Digital gift cards can take up to 24 hours to be emailed and activated.
  • A physical card will not be issued when purchasing a gift card online, but a digital card will be emailed to the recipient.
  • Please double-check the Recipient Email Address. Villages Calgary is not responsible for gift cards sent to mistyped, misspelled or incorrect email addresses.
  • Digital gift cards can be redeemed online or in-store. Digital gift card code must be presented at time of purchase.
  • Gift cards can not be refunded or returned.

Cheques, Money Orders & E-Transfers

Villages Calgary does not accept cheques, money orders or e-transfers as payment methods.

 

 

In-Store Pickup

If you purchased items through our webstore, please allow up to 48 hours for us to complete your order. Once your items have been pulled and processed, we will give you a call when it is ready for pick-up. Your webstore purchase may be picked up in-store at:

Please ensure that you have your picture ID on hand when you come to pick up your items. If you have someone else picking up your items for you, please put their name in the notes section when placing your order or give us a call at 403-270-0631. Make sure the person coming to pick up your order has their picture ID with them.

Items you have ordered but have not paid for will be held for 7 days. If not picked up within that time, the items will be returned to the shelf.

Items you have ordered and paid for will be held for 90 days. If not picked up within that time, you will be issued a refund and the items will be returned to the shelf.

 

 

Shipping

Customers may choose to have items shipped anywhere within Canada. All shipping is done via a third-party courier. Our goal is to have product packaged and ready for shipping within 2 business days of receiving an order. Customers will receive an email notification when the package is shipped.

Our primary courier delivery standards for ground service are 2-6 business days to major Canadian cities and may take longer to rural or remote addresses.

Please note that these are not guaranteed delivery timelines but estimates. Delays may be caused in cases of high volume, road closures, adverse weather or natural disasters.

Estimated arrival times for each province:

BC, Alberta & Saskatchewan: between 2-9 business days

Manitoba & Ontario: between 4-10 business days

Quebec, Territories & Maritimes: between 6-15 business days

 

 

Returns

Gift cards are never eligible for a refund or store credit.

 

In-Store Returns

You may return a regularly priced item for a refund or store credit. Returned items must be in new, saleable condition. Items not eligible for returns are food items, opened personal care items, sale items (including items purchased with a discount code), clearance items, discount items, washed clothing or textiles, or earrings. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of purchase and must be accompanied by the original receipt. Items returned with a gift receipt are only eligible for store credit.

 

Webstore Returns

You may return a regularly priced item for a refund or for store credit. Shipping charges will not be refunded on Webstore Returns. Returned items must be in new, saleable condition. Items not eligible for return are food items, personal care items, sale items (including items purchased with a discount code), clearance items, discount items, earrings, or clothing. 

 

How to Return an Item:

Return items in-store:

You may return your items to Villages Calgary, accompanied by an original receipt, within 30 days of purchase.

Return items by mail:

If you wish to return an item by mail, please notify us at [email protected]. Returns will not be accepted without prior confirmation and must be postmarked no later than 30 days from the date of receipt. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit to us. Original shipping cost is non-refundable. Return postage is at the customer’s expense.

For your protection, we recommend you send your return with an insured, trackable carrier like Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, or FedEx. Once we receive your item, we will send you a confirmation via e-mail.

Returns will be processed within 7-10 business days after receipt of your package. An email notification will be sent when the refund has been processed. Please allow 7-21 business days for the credit to appear on your account and allow one billing cycle for the credit to appear on your credit card statement. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you have not seen the credit after 21 days.

 

FAQ About Returns

My credit card number has been changed. How can I be refunded?

When you receive a new credit card, most banks will link your account number to the new card. You will receive your credit refund as normal.

Can I return sale items?

All sale items are final and cannot be returned.

I have taken the tags off a gift item, can it still be returned?

Yes, your item can still be returned if you have the original receipt or gift receipt and it has been purchased within 30 days.

Can I have a gift receipt for a webstore item?

We are only able to give gift receipts for in-store purchases.

My webstore item arrived damaged, can I return it?

If your item has arrived damaged, please contact [email protected] and we will be able to assist your return with either a replacement item, store credit or a refund.

I paid in-store with a credit card, can I be refunded with cash?

No, all refunds must be the same method of payment as the original purchase.
