Plant this handmade card! Alyssum and snapdragon flower seeds are implanted into the recycled paper used to make this beautiful hand-painted card by South African artisans. Directions for planting are written on the back. The card is 100% post-consumer waste paper. A shredding company and schools supply this material. Only water is added to the paper, and no chemicals are used. These artisans work with Koru Street to sell their cards.
Koru Street is a fair trade organization that works with artisans from around the world who specialize in recycling waste materials, selling their products. Koru Street's name references the koru spiral, which is a symbol of new beginning for the Maori culture.
