This set of 2 candles are hand dipped myrtle wax and they are made by the Q’eqchi people in the Guatemalan cloud forests. It burns for approximately 6 hours and smells faintly of bayberry.
UPAVIM is a self-run cooperative of women in La Esperanza, Guatemala. They provide leadership opportunities, economic independence and education for the members and their families. UPAVIM creates and sells colorful, handcrafted products for markets all around the world. Sales of UPAVIM’s fair trade goods directly support a full-day K-6 grade school, daycare and Montessori-based preschool.
